Museo Bellapart! Primer Museo de Artes Plásticas, con carácter privado, de la República Dominicana. Fundado en 1999 por el empresario catalán, Juan José Bellapart., esta dedicado íntegramente al Arte Dominicano.

La Colección Bellapart posee cerca de 2,000 piezas en sus fondos y ofrece mediante su Colección Permanente una visión completa de la evolución estilística de las artes plásticas dominicanas. Inicia su recorrido con pinturas de la década de 1890 y abarca todos los estilos y corrientes artísticas del siglo XX hasta el presente, en cuatro ejes cronológicos, incluyendo pinturas, esculturas, grabados y dibujos.

La colección que ha sido reunida desde los años 60 por la familia Bellapart tiene acceso gratuito a los amantes del arte y constituye un inigualable tesoro de obras de los artistas más destacados del arte nacional.

Dentro de las políticas del Museo Bellapart esta la colaboración con otras entidades museísticas y de divulgación cultural a través del préstamo de obras de la colección, colaboración con otras instituciones para la publicación de libros y catálogos de arte, apoya a los especialistas e investigadores de arte poniendo a disposición las obras para su estudio y foto documentación y coopera con la educación del publico asistente a través de visitas especializadas, visitas talleres y el uso de una biblioteca especializada en arte universal.

Como primer museo privado de artes visuales abierto al público, además de preservar y difundir su colección, durante su existencia ha desarrollado permanentemente un importante programa de exposiciones destinado a divulgar en el país y en el extranjero, la producción artística de figuras capitales del arte dominicano como Luis Desangles, Abelardo Rodríguez Urdaneta, Celeste Woss y Gil, Yoryi Morel, Jaime Colson, Darío Suro, Gilberto Hernández Ortega, Eligio Pichardo, Paul Giudicelli y Clara Ledesma, entre otros.
