Santo Domingo, Rep. Dom. el pasado 15 de mayo se realizó en las instalaciones de “ART GALLERY” el cóctel “15 DE MAYO” de la artista dominicana Miriam Calzada, el mismo auspiciado por la marca “QUINT COLLECTION HOLLYWOOD & JQ GROUP”, el cóctel estuvo a cargo del Sr. Edward De Valle y la reconocida artista dominicana.
El trabajo de Miriam es algo que no había presenciado antes en la República Dominicana. Ella tiene una gran pasión por la naturaleza, además de respeto hacia la misma. Esta conexión con el medio ambiente motivó a que nuestros amigos de “QUINT Collection Hollywood” fueran parte de este evento ya que este proyecto frente al mar se encuentra rodeado de manglares y animales exóticos de una reserva nacional, los cuales son aspectos sobresalientes de este hermoso proyecto, apuntó el Sr. Edward De Valle.
La artista dominicana nos cuenta un poco sobre esta fresca y exquisita exposición que tituló “15 de Mayo”, la misma tendrá dos semanas expuesta al público a partir de este 15 de mayo; “Sumérgete en la realidad más allá de tu pantalla”.
Desde el valle más remoto, hasta la más alta montaña, silenciosas e inadvertidas, a la vez estremecen y retumban en los oídos de aquellos que tanto las necesitan. Las nubes limpian, curan, tienen una poderosa función en la naturaleza que por si fuera poco, sirven para divertirnos desde niños con sus formas, reflejos, dulzura... Y siempre vuelve a llover.
El agua corre por el fondo de los valles hasta llegar al mar, donde se vierte finalmente y de ahí, de nuevo, se evapora formando nuestras protagonistas…y vuelve a llover.
La suprema sencillez de la composición de las nubes me involucra, no solo las veo y contemplo, sino que les tomé cariño.
Tan especiales gotas de agua suspendidas en la atmósfera.

La Sra. Marianne de Tolentino, inspirada por esta colección nos regala en texto su inspiración; “En el cielo lírico de un azul perenne, las nubes alcanzan contornos fantásticos y surrealistas. Sugerencias extrañas de criaturas ignotas, rechonchas, risueñas algodonadas, filamentosas, flotantes, movedizas, su consistencia, sus formas, su luminosidad las sitúan más como entes protectores del universo misterioso que amenazadoras y tempestuosas. Y, así, el lente de Miriam Calzada aprehende variaciones insólitas y fascinantes”.

The water runs through the bottom of the valleys until it reaches the sea, where it finally spills out and then, again, evaporates forming our protagonists ... and it rains again.
The supreme simplicity of the composition of the clouds involves me, not only do I see and contemplate them, but I took care of them.
