Ámbitos Desconocidos de Amaya Salazar es una exposición que evoca la nostalgia, nos invita a recordar esos momentos y lugares a donde quisiéramos escapar aunque sea por un breve momento. Su obra es continuamente optimista y sus universos eternamente mágicos pero esta vez tienen un toque de melancolía. En esta muestra, la artista plasma ámbitos desconocidos, mundos que antes no nos había presentado y ambientes que sus personajes no habían explorado.

Su estilo sigue siendo único, lo podemos llamar el estilo Amaya. En este sus pinceladas invisibles permiten que los cuadros se conviertan en las ventanas hacia otros mundos esos que son mágicos, esos que son de ensueño esos que nos abren las puertas y nos invitan a habitar en un ambiente de destellos de luz, sombras frescas y color eterno. Estos siguen existiendo pero en ocasiones anteriores hemos visto cómo los amarillos luminosos se convertían en un verde esmeralda; ahora ese amarillo se torna en un azul tenue con matices de gris. Nuevos colores toman el protagonismo en estos ambientes, Los grises los verdes agrisados, los tonos marrones, los azules oscuros todos evocan un sentimiento de nostalgia. La línea es mas pesada y dibujada de arriba a abajo, los paisajes son mas esfumados como si estuvieran cubiertos por una ligera bruma que nos recuerdan de la fragilidad de la vida. Sin embargo la luz, esa luz que brilla en el caribe sigue prevaleciendo en los cuadros de Amaya. Esta es creada por las fuertes tonalidades amarillas, blancas, o una mancha naranja o una pincelada que cambia el tono del azul a uno mas claro. La luz prevalece y crea un contraste con el cromatismo más oscuro creando balance y demostrándose que la vida es una donde la felicidad vive en total harmonía con la tristeza.
Los escenarios también han evolucionado en sus paisajes la flora que antes era un homenaje a los árboles tropicales, ahora incluye cipreses alargados, árboles de arce que tienen un follaje abundante. Amaya también presenta una paisaje con caballos y hasta una obra donde presenta la proa de una pequeña embarcación. Elementos que ocasionalmente habían estado presente en sus cuadros pero ahora aún más, queriendo llevar al espectador a ver mas allá. Por último sus redes que han tomado un papel principal en sus obras desde el año 2013, estas también evolucionan. En algunos cuadros son un elemento principal de la composición envolviendo casi en su totalidad a los personajes y a la naturaleza mientras que en otros nacen de las hojas de una flor o de un destello de luz, pero siempre presente y siempre recordándonos que todos estamos unidos el uno con el otro y también a la naturaleza, a la luz y hasta al aire que respiramos.

Ámbitos Desconocidos by Amaya Salazar is an exhibition that evokes nostalgia, invites us to remember those moments and places where we would like to escape even for a brief moment. Her work is continually optimistic and her eternally magical universes but this time they have a touch of melancholy. In this exhibition, the artist depicts unknown areas, worlds that she had not previously presented to us and environments that her characters had not explored.

Her style is still unique, we can call it the Amaya style. In this, the invisible brushstrokes of her allow the paintings to become the windows to other worlds, those that are magical, those that are dreamy, those that open the doors and invite us to live in an environment of flashes of light, fresh shadows. and eternal color. These still exist but on previous occasions we have seen how the luminous yellows turned into an emerald green; now that yellow turns into a soft blue with shades of gray. New colors take center stage in these environments, grays, grayish greens, brown tones, dark blues all evoke a feeling of nostalgia. The line is heavier and drawn from top to bottom, the landscapes are more blurred as if they were covered by a light mist that reminds us of the fragility of life. However the light, that light that shines in the Caribbean continues to prevail in Amaya's paintings. This is created by strong yellow, white hues, or an orange stain or brushstroke that changes the tone from blue to a lighter one. The light prevails and creates a contrast with the darker chromaticism creating balance and showing that life is one where happiness lives in total harmony with sadness.
The sceneries have also evolved in the landscapes of her the flora that was previously a tribute to tropical trees, now includes elongated cypresses, maple trees that have abundant foliage. Amaya also presents a landscape with horses and even a work where she presents the bow of a small boat. Elements that had occasionally been present in her paintings but now even more so, wanting to take the viewer to see further. Finally, her networks that have taken a leading role in her works since 2013, these also evolve. In some paintings they are a main element of the composition, almost entirely involving the characters and nature, while in others they are born from the leaves of a flower or a flash of light, but always present and always reminding us that we are all united in the with each other and also with nature, with light and even with the air we breathe.
