El Ministerio de Cultura, a través del Museo de Arte Moderno (MAM), anunció la continuación del programa de actividades teóricas de la 29.ª Bienal Nacional de Artes Visuales 2021, correspondiente al mes de octubre, que se desarrollará en el auditorio de la institución museística.
Los conversatorios se realizarán todos los viernes a las 5:30 de la tarde y contarán con la presencia de Federico Fondeur, director del MAM, quien manifestó su satisfacción por poder compartir con los panelistas un recorrido por 29 ediciones de la Bienal y sus transformaciones con arreglo a la evolución de la historia y del arte.
El primer viernes de octubre tendrá lugar la conferencia magistral “La Ley de Mecenazgo y su Reglamento”, que será impartida por Abil Peralta Agüero, crítico de arte, curador y consultor cultural, quien durante once años ha tenido a su cargo la gestión y coordinación técnica del Proyecto de Ley de Fomento de Mecenazgo Cultural, ahora Ley n.° 340-19, con su respectivo Reglamento de Aplicación.
Para el viernes 8 se ha programado el coloquio "Propiedad intelectual y los NFT”, en el que participarán el abogado, catedrático y escritor Edwin Espinal y el ingeniero, conferencista y consultor de negocios y desarrollo de software José Elías, acompañados por Carlos Acero, quien fungirá como moderador.
El viernes 15 será el turno del coloquio "Los Amigos de los Museos”, en el cual Carlos Andújar, director general de Museos del Ministerio de Cultura, junto a Tito Elías y César Miguel, actual y anterior presidentes de la Asociación de Amigos del MAM, respectivamente, y Marianne de Tolentino, crítica de arte, conversarán sobre el apoyo de las asociaciones a los museos a nivel mundial. Esta actividad estará moderada por Amable López Meléndez.
Por su parte, el coloquio titulado "Culturas visuales y la educación artística", a cargo de los catedráticos universitarios Odalís Pérez, Albacelis Acosta y Fidel Munnigh, tendrá lugar el viernes 29 y contará como moderadora con Iris Pérez, artista visual y directora de la Escuela Nacional de Artes Visuales (ENAV).
También forman parte del programa de eventos de la 29.ª Bienal Nacional de Artes Visuales los encuentros culturales “Compartiendo con los artistas seleccionados de la 29 BNAV”, los miércoles de 11:00 de la mañana a 12:00 del mediodía, y la “Bienal vista por los niños”, los martes y jueves, de 10:30 de la mañana a 12:00 del mediodía.
Además de las actividades citadas, la “Bienal Social” tendrá lugar los viernes, de 10:00 de la mañana a 12:00 del mediodía, en tanto que los sábados, en ese mismo horario, se desarrollará la “Bienal en Familia”.
Para participar en la programación de los encuentros culturales se debe realizar una reservación previa en el Departamento de Extensión Cultural del Museo de Arte Moderno (MAM).

The Ministry of Culture, through the Museum of Modern Art (MAM), announced the
continuation of the program of theoretical activities of the 29th National Biennial of Visual Arts 2021, corresponding to the month of October, which will take place in the auditorium of the museum institution.
The talks will be held every Friday at 5:30 in the afternoon and will be attended by Federico Fondeur, director of the MAM, who expressed his satisfaction at being able to share with the panelists a tour of 29 editions of the Biennial and its transformations with according to the evolution of history and art.
The first Friday in October will take place the keynote conference "The Law of Patronage and its Regulations", which will be given by Abil Peralta Agüero, art critic, curator and cultural consultant, who for eleven years has been in charge of the management and coordination technique of the Draft Law for the Promotion of Cultural Patronage, now Law No. 340-19, with its respective Implementing Regulations.
For Friday the 8th, the colloquium "Intellectual property and NFTs" has been scheduled, in which the lawyer, professor and writer Edwin Espinal and the engineer, lecturer and business and software development consultant José Elías will participate, accompanied by Carlos Acero, who will act as moderator.
On Friday 15 it will be the turn of the colloquium "The Friends of the Museums", in which Carlos Andújar, general director of Museums of the Ministry of Culture, together with Tito Elías and César Miguel, current and former presidents of the Association of Friends of MAM , respectively, and Marianne de Tolentino, art critic, will talk about the support of associations for museums worldwide This activity will be moderated by Amable López Meléndez.
For its part, the colloquium entitled "Visual cultures and artistic education", by university professors Odalís Pérez, Albacelis Acosta and Fidel Munnigh, will take place on Friday 29 and will be moderated by Iris Pérez, visual artist and director of the National School of Visual Arts (ENAV).
Also part of the program of events of the 29th National Visual Arts Biennial are the cultural meetings "Sharing with the selected artists of the 29th BNAV", on Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, and the "Biennial seen by children", on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon.
In addition to the aforementioned activities, the "Social Biennial" will take place on Fridays, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, while on Saturdays, at the same time, the "Family Biennial" will take place.
To participate in the programming of cultural meetings, a prior reservation must be made at the Department of Cultural Extension of the Museum of Modern Art (MAM).
