Soraya se ha distanciado de la figuración, aunque puede volver a inscribir líneas, modulaciones y círculos dentro de sugerencias corporales y de rostros. Ella desafía el dibujo y la pintura tradicionales, pero conserva las exigencias de factura rigurosa y limpidez en la ejecución.

En la parte pictórica, introduce diseño, colores y componentes estructurales, en diferentes formatos, combinando la geometría sensible y la fluidez formal, la figuración y la abstracción, dualidad y síntesis. Son juegos de trazos y de tramas, de curvas y de círculos, que ocupan el espacio cual un circuito incontenible. Se alían ritmos y construcciones, teniendo Soraya una idiosincrasia propia.
Si, en las muestras recientes de Soraya, siempre se han unido y alternado las expresiones bidimensional- dibujo y pintura- y tridimensional – instalaciones y esculturas-, ahora Soraya amplia y magnifica las instalaciones, aprovechando la extensión horizontal y vertical de la Cúpula.
Ella se apropia de las “pellizas”, incontables retacitos de telas que suelen convertir en tapices. Hace tiempo, había captado las posibilidades –formales y expresivas- que ofrece esa técnica textil artesanal, y, hoy más que nunca, las transforma en una red“mágica”, que curvea, asciende, desciende, se trepa por las paredes, cubre el piso,brota en recovecos… Hasta erige laberintos que nosotros, los visitantes, recorremos gustosamente. ¡Colores y formas, huecos y recortes se adueñan del ambiente!
Es a la vez arte y artesanía, escultura e instalación, textura y volumen, foco luminosoy vitalidad cromática, un resultado estético singular. Creatividad y laboriosidad culminan en precisión, refinamiento y belleza.
Soraya siempre se apropia de microorganismos que ella amplia, multiplica, animacomo si fueran células fecundantes que crecen y desarrollan un organismo fascinante.
Nunca abandonó las composiciones neo-biológicas, sin embargo los elementos participantes han trascendido ideológicamente. La inquietud por el planeta, la migración, la población creciente, podría ser una lectura…
¡Sencillamente, Soraya Abu Naba’a consigue renovarse, manteniendo su compromiso ante el arte y la humanidad! Una vocación precoz se ha convertido en la seguridad, la convicción y la confirmación de una joven profesional del arte en ruta hacia la maestría.

Soraya has distanced herself from figuration, although she can re-inscribe lines, modulations and circles within suggestions of the body and faces. She challenges traditional drawing and painting, but maintains the demands of a rigorous invoice and limpid execution.

In the pictorial part, she introduces design, colors and structural components, in different formats, combining sensitive geometry and formal fluidity, figuration and abstraction, duality and synthesis. They are games of lines and plots, of curves and circles, which occupy the space like an irrepressible circuit. Rhythms and constructions come together, Soraya having her own idiosyncrasy.
If, in Soraya's recent exhibitions, two-dimensional expressions - drawing and painting - and three-dimensional - installations and sculptures - have always been united and alternated, now Soraya widens and magnifies the installations, taking advantage of the horizontal and vertical extension of the Dome.
She appropriates the “pelizas”, countless little pieces of fabric that they usually turn into tapestries. Some time ago, he had grasped the possibilities -formal and expressive- offered by this handmade textile technique, and, today more than ever, he transforms them into a "magical" net, which curves, ascends, descends, climbs the walls, covers the floor, sprouts in nooks... It even erects labyrinths that we, the visitors, gladly walk through. Colors and shapes, holes and cuts take over the environment!
It is at once art and craft, sculpture and installation, texture and volume, light source and chromatic vitality, a unique aesthetic result. Creativity and industriousness culminate in precision, refinement and beauty.
Soraya always appropriates microorganisms that she expands, multiplies, animates as if they were fertilizing cells that grow and develop a fascinating organism.
She never abandoned neo-biological compositions, however the participating elements have transcended ideologically. Concern for the planet, migration, the growing population, could be a reading...
Quite simply, Soraya Abu Naba'a manages to renew herself, maintaining her commitment to art and humanity! A precocious vocation has become the security, conviction and confirmation of a young art professional on her way to mastery.
