Se espera información sobre la causa del fallecimiento del gran artista de la plástica, formado en Alemania y en torno a su velatorio y sepultura. Se cree fue un infarto. Murió haciendo lo que amaba.
Aun sentido el dolor por la reciente partida de Ángel Hache, cuando llega la información, por medio de Iris Pérez y Abil Peralta, artista y curador respectivamente, del fallecimiento ayer en Munich, del maestro de la plástica, José Rincón Mora, mientras pintaba en su taller. Un infarto fue el suceso que le quitó la vida.
Pintor, arquitecto, dibujante y grabadista, se formó con e maestro Jaime Colson y posteriormente fue becado por el gobierno alemán en la Universidad de Munchen. Su tendencia en la pintura, lo abstracto, lo elevó a los más altos lugares de la apreciación plástica internacional, con piezas que son muy cotizadas por los coleccionistas de varios continentes.
Su vida En Alemania empieza a pintar con oro en temas abstractos. En 1970, expone en la Kunst Verein-München, Galería Buchholz, Haus der Kunst, en München, en Sttugart, Esslingen, Uhn, Zurich, 1971.
En 1972 viaja a España, Francia, Grecia e Italia para aumentar su almacén de experiencias artísticas y humanas.
En el país expone en la Galería Rosa María y luego, en el Teatro Nacional, sus copias de los originales de los maestros europeos. Por encargo de la Comisión de Restauración de Monumentos Coloniales de la ciudad de Santo Domingo, diseña los vitrales de la iglesia del Convento de los Curas Dominicos de Santo Domingo, Presbiterio y fachada Oeste de la Catedral de Santo Domingo. Viaja a Brasil y le interesa profundamente el espiritismo latinoamericano.
En 1981 instala los vitrales completos de la vieja iglesia del Convento Dominico de Santo Domingo, y 24 grandes vitrales en la Catedral de Santiago de los Caballeros, proyecto aún por continuar, 1982.
Fue miembro de la Sociedad de Artistas de la ciudad de München y miembro de la Sociedad de Artistas de Santo Domingo. La crítica ha dicho que la pintura de Mora es inauguración y aventura que recorre formidables victorias al penetrar en el mundo mágico de lo antillano. Impetuoso, avasallador, pleno de gozo y sensibilidad; de sueños y aspiraciones, recrea la tradición popular desde misteriosas iconografías efectivas y constructivas.
Sus personajes, cubiertos de máscaras sospechosas y diabólicas, aparecen en posiciones gestuales sumergidas en asombroso maniqueísmo como si quisiera convencernos de que el sarcasmo poblado de miradas ignotas, pleno de complicidades y amenazas, es un planteamiento anímico del mundo que se visualiza en figuras convulsas, irracionales y misteriosas.
Abil Peralta
El crítico y gestor de la plástica, Abil Peralta, en un sentido comentario que publica hoy, ha dicho: “Aun con el dolor por la partida de su Ángel Haché, la pintora y amiga Elsa Núñez, se tomó el tiempo temprano para darme la infausta noticia sobre la muerte del maestro de la pintura dominicana Jose Rincón Mora, quien pendulaba su tiempo de trabajo entre su taller en Alemania y su laboratorio de creación y trabajo de República
Hablo de un artista enteramente consagrado en la más amplia y concreta dimensión semántica de la palabra asociada al oficio de pintor; artista forjador de una obra pictórica y vitralística de una probada dimensión internacional.
A él me unieron lazos y relaciones de trabajo muy fuertes, tanto así que dos de sus exposiciones ultimas presentadas en Europa, me correspondió escribir los textos de los respectivos catálogos; y además compañero de intensos vínculos profesionales durante los años en que, de la mano del gran escultor dominicano Bismarck Victoria, trabajamos en el Proyecto Catedral Santiago Apóstol de Santiago de los Caballeros, donde tuvimos el privilegio de compartir la escena del arte y el trabajo junto al maestro Gaspar Mario Cruz y el escultor Ramón Osorio.
Aquella fue una experiencia maravillosa, así la recuerdo. Gaspar Mario Cruz, con su maestría tallista convirtió en argumento visual-narrativo las imponentes puertas del templo, grabando los conmovedores notas de los salmos de la Biblia; y Jose, como es de suponer, ensamblando los imponentes vitrales que antes había producido en su taller de Alemania.
Además de dirigir los trabajos artísticos de la obra de Catedral, Bismarck Victoria, desde sensible sabiduría escultórica derramo toda la sensibilidad de la geometría, creando y produciendo un conjunto de arte místico-plástico-escultórico y arquitectónico, aun inédito para el ojo la conciencia divina en la forma terrena, y eso, todo ese conjunto está allí.
La culminación de mi relación de atención y alta valoración de la obra pictórica de Jose Rincón Mora alcanzo su nivel más alto cuando confió en mí la producción de una amplia investigación iconográfica sobre su obra para el ensayo central de su libro-catálogo monográfico correspondiente a su exposición retrospectiva presentada en el año 2011 en el Museo de Arte Moderno de Santo Domingo; texto que titule “LA PROVOCACIÓN PERCEPTUAL COMO PRINCIPIO ESTÉTICO EN EL REPERTORIO SIMBÓLICO DE JOSE RINCÓN MORA”.
Admito que interminables horas de dialogo con el artista, exploración iconográfica y desciframiento simbólico, me conectaron con profunda pasión con la obra pictórica y vitral de este gran artista de dimensión internacional, lo que así deje claramente establecido como verdad personal y para siempre en la referida publicación.
Igual me queda la satisfacción de haber contribuido a que un excelente conjunto de sus pinturas pasaran a formar parte de la Colección Permanente de Arte de la Cámara de Diputados; allí estarán representado su genio creador, como igual está patentado en la Suprema Corte de Justicia, impresionante escenario donde se juzgan los delitos de quienes violentan las leyes de los hombres, optando por el crimen y la ofensa más alta cometidos contra sus semejantes.”
