La pareja está conformada por Dea Gómez (Salamanca, 1989) y Diego Omil (Pontevedra, 1988) ambos licenciados en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Salamanca trabajan en conjunto desde 2012 bajo el nombre de “Los Bravú”, palabra gallega utilizada para referirse al olor animal. De este modo, han desarrollado una carrera dentro del cómic de corte experimental contemporáneo donde intercalan dibujo, pintura, escultura y fotografía . Han publicado en las editoriales Fulgencio Pimentel, Apa-Apa cómics o Fosfatina y han autoeditado numerosas publicaciones. Con respecto a su obra pictórica y escultórica, han expuesto en galerías y festivales internacionales como El Parche en Bogotá, el FIBD de Angoulême, JUSTMAD, Estampa o Matadero Madrid. Su obra forma parte de colecciones como la Colección DKV o la Colección de la Real Academia de España en Roma.
Nuevas Adquisiciones: sus obras ingresan a la importante ‘Colección Chocolate Cortés’, especializada en arte contemporáneo de El Caribe, Latinoamérica e Internacional, San Juan, Puerto Rico, cortesía de @lorgallery así como su formidable obra “Vista del Jardín de la Villa” pasa a formar parte de la gran ‘Colección Mariano Yera’, una de las más importantes de España, que abarca pintura de gran formato de la segunda mitad del siglo XX a la actualidad.
