Las elecciones del Colegio Dominicano de Artistas Plásticos (Codap), que se celebraron este fin de semana para el periodo 2021-2023, terminaron en protesta.
La plancha encabezada por la gremialista Rosalba Hernández protestó por los resultados y los que apoyaron su propuesta también, en la sede ubicada en la calle El Conde 58, Ciudad Colonial, en el Distrito Nacional.
Mientras que José Sejo, de la plancha "Renacimiento", resultó ganador, según los últimos datos presentados.
En un video que ha circulado, Rosalba se quejaba de que "nos ganaron por cinco votos".

"Es un secuestro que tienen del Codap" decían algunos artistas del gremio que votaron por la plancha de Rosalba.
En tanto que otros decían "Sejo ganó, Sejo ganó" y fueron a felicitarlo.
"Ganó el profesor José Sejo con 116 votos. Rosalba perdió por 6 votos. Es la segunda vez que ella compite y pierde", comentó una fuente a Diario Libre.
Luis José Aguasvivas Núñez (José Sejo), fungía como vicepresidente del Codap, siendo presidente Miguel Gómez.
El Colegio Dominicano de Artistas Plásticos (Codap) fue fundado el 20 de septiembre del año 1977 con el maestro Guillo Pérez, como presidente.
Para el año 1978 la entidad fue incorporada y reconocida por el Estado dominicano como la única institución representante de los artistas visuales del país.
