Graduada en el 2018 de Artes Plásticas por La Escuela del Instituto de Arte de Chicago. Al terminar su licenciatura, continuó sus estudios con clases en la academia de pintura DeCinti Villalón, en Madrid, y cursos en la escuela de arte y diseño Altos de Chavón.
Cuenta con diversas participaciones en el área de las artes, incluyendo proyectos de diseño y voluntariados, en los que se ha involucrado con el objetivo de crecer como artista a través de temas que la inspiran y expandan su práctica artística. En el año 2016, fue seleccionada por la Facultad de Arte de su escuela para la exposición Art Bash, y en 2017 fue una de las finalistas para el “Fellowship de artes visuales de Luminarts”. También participó en la 28 Bienal de Artes Visuales de República Dominicana, donde fueron seleccionadas tres de sus obras. En el 2018 tuvo su primera individual en Casa de Teatro y en el 2019 participó en la residencia de arte internacional Athena Standards en la ciudad de Atenas, Grecia. También ha formado parte de muchas exhibiciones colectivas durante los últimos años.
Su objetivo principal como artista es lograr ser parte del acelerado mundo del arte, y a través de su práctica poder expresar y representar temas importantes para ella. Últimamente, está trabajando en una colección dedicada a resaltar temas relacionados con las mujeres en República Dominicana y en Latinoamérica, donde cuestiona el concepto de la belleza, su percepción y cómo esta se expresa en los cuerpos femeninos.

Graduated in 2018 in Plastic Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Upon finishing his degree, he continued his studies with classes at the DeCinti Villalón painting academy in Madrid and courses at the Altos de Chavón school of art and design.
She has various participations in the arts area, including design and volunteer projects, in which she has been involved with the aim of growing as an artist through themes that inspire her and expand her artistic practice. In 2016, she was selected by the Art Faculty of her school for the Art Bash exhibition, and in 2017 she was one of the finalists for the "Luminarts Visual Arts Fellowship". He also participated in the 28th Visual Arts Biennial of the Dominican Republic, where three of his works were selected. In 2018 he had his first individual at Casa de Teatro and in 2019 he participated in the Athena Standards international art residency in the city of Athens, Greece. It has also been part of many group exhibitions in recent years.
Her main objective as an artist is to become part of the fast-paced world of art, and through her practice to be able to express and represent important themes for her. Lately, she is working on a collection dedicated to highlighting issues related to women in the Dominican Republic and Latin America, where she questions the concept of beauty, its perception and how it is expressed in female bodies.

“Mis piezas hablan sobre lo que se debe hablar y llamar atención según mi percepción dentro de lo social y ambiental y cuestionantes estructurales.
Mi cuerpo de trabajo se presenta variante; desde medios tradicionales, a la implementación de recursos no convencionales en el arte dominicano.
Relación de lo bidimensional transitando a la instalación, junto a los happenings o "acontecimientos" y ‘la performance’. Lo interactivo se hace palpitante en mi necesidad del crear dentro del contexto de la actual República Dominicana.
Partiendo de la necesidad dominicana a la educación en arte contemporáneo y manifestaciones culturales contemporáneas; considero urgente tal acceso al ‘todos’. Pueblo de dominicano tanto educado en bellas artes como dominicano que no, destacándose los conocimientos de medios y recursos performáticos, como vehículos de inspiración a manifestaciones pacíficas, organizadas, de fuerza y trascendencia ante males a cuales nos presentamos indefensos.

"My pieces talk about what should be talked about and draw attention according to my perception within the social and environmental and structural questions.
My body of work is presented variant; from traditional media, to the implementation of unconventional resources in Dominican art.
Two-dimensional relationship transiting the installation, along with happenings or "events" and "performance". The interactive is throbbing in my need to create within the context of the current Dominican Republic.
Starting from the Dominican need for education in contemporary art and contemporary cultural manifestations; I consider such access to the 'all' urgent. Dominican people both educated in fine arts and not Dominican, highlighting the knowledge of means and performative resources, as vehicles of inspiration for peaceful, organized, force and transcendence demonstrations before evils to which we present ourselves defenseless.

Arianna Polanco nace el 26 de septiembre de 1991, inicia sus estudios con una licenciatura en psicología clínica en UNIBE, a la par de cursar talleres de dibujo, luego realiza un master en arte terapia en Barcelona donde desarrolla su lenguaje artístico, lo cual la llevó a tomar la decisión de entrar a la escuela de diseño Altos de Chavón en septiembre del 2019 y regresar a la isla para seguir esta línea, actualmente cursando la carrera de Bellas Artes.
Su trabajo tiene un trasfondo de investigación y estudios psicológicos.

Arianna Polanco was born on September 26, 1991, she began her studies with a degree in clinical psychology at UNIBE, along with taking drawing workshops, then she completed a master in art therapy in Barcelona where she developed her artistic language, which led her to make the decision to enter the Altos de Chavón design school in September 2019 and return to the island to follow this line, currently pursuing a degree in Fine Arts.
His work has a background of research and psychological studies.

Nació en la ciudad de Santo Domingo, D. N., ingreso a la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, en el año 1993 a estudiar Técnico en Arte Publicitario, graduándose en el año,1998. Al siguiente año vuelve a la UASD, matriculandose en Lic. en Publicidad, graduándose en el año 2005... Ha realizado talleres de cerámica que auspicia la Agencia Japonesa de Cooperación Internacional (JICA) en la ENAV. Actualmente, es estudiante de la Escuela Nacional de Artes Visuales.
“Tengo mucho interés en manifestar con mi trabajo rasgos y manifestaciones identitarias propias de nuestro contexto geográfico, así como fisonomías diversas del fenómeno humano. Quiero celebrar al individuo y su manera de aparecer en el mundo.
Son rostros silentes. En calma. De mirada serena y de poca expresividad. Con las técnicas que exploro, me siento desafiado a producir retratos que no evidencian sorpresas, con cierta ausencia de expresiones notables; como si la obra se completará con el espectador y su manera de interpretar una memoria facial no revelada del todo.
Me valgo del punto. No como si quisiera poner fin a la conversación que hoy entablamos, más bien, y esto en relación directa a lo gramatical, como si hiciera una pausa para seguir indagando, para explorar en la condición humana y hacer un registro visual de mis hallazgos.”

He was born in the city of Santo Domingo, D. N., entered the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, in 1993 to study Technician in Advertising Art, graduating in 1998. The following year he returned to UASD, enrolling in Advertising Degree, graduating in 2005 ... He has held ceramic workshops sponsored by the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation (JICA) at ENAV. Currently, he is a student at the National School of Visual Arts.
“I am very interested in manifesting with my work identity features and manifestations typical of our geographical context, as well as diverse features of the human phenomenon. I want to celebrate the individual and his way of appearing in the world.
They are silent faces. Calm down. With a serene gaze and little expressiveness. With the techniques that I explore, I feel challenged to produce portraits that do not show surprises, with a certain absence of notable expressions; as if the work will be completed with the viewer and his way of interpreting an entirely undisclosed facial memory.
I'm using the point. Not as if I wanted to end the conversation we had today, rather, and this in direct relation to grammar, as if I paused to continue investigating, to explore the human condition and make a visual record of my findings. ”

Lizette Nin, es una artista dominicana que trabaja con medios mixtos, pero primordialmente con técnicas de impresión y revelado alternativo y/o experimental, ha tenido ya cuatro individuales, las cuales 2 de ellas fueron en el Centro de La Imagen de Santo Domingo, junto con el apoyo de la Fundación 83, y curadas por Carlos Acero Ruiz, y donde introduce a su trabajo por primera vez la fotografía documental, con "Más Allá del Tiempo", en el Marco de Photoimagen 2018.
Ha participado en varias individuales, entre ellas Times To Be Feminine, Women Space Brooklyn NY, ha sido seleccionada como finalista en el premio de arte contemporáneo del Diario Libre en 2 ocasiones, y también ha expuesto en el Centro Cultural León Jimenes, en colectivo, junto al programa de educación continua para artistas.
Actualmente, ha expuesto su cuarta Individual en Barcelona, España en la galería "Tangent Projects", donde habla sobre el feminismo negro y los agentes de opresión. En el 2018 expone su primera individual en Valencia, España, con el Centro Cultural Juan Bosch.
Ha sido becada por el Museo de Arte Moderno de Barcelona MACBA, donde desarrolla hasta junio un proyecto de intervenciones usando la realidad aumentada. El resto del año estará siendo parte de 2 residencias artísticas, una en "Tangent Projects" durante el mes de agosto y otra en " La Escocesa Barcelona" desde septiembre 2020 -febrero 2021. Ha realizado sus estudios universitarios en la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, donde empieza sus primeros roces con la experimentación y el desarrollo de otros mecanismos artísticos, con maestros como Leonardo Durán y Roman Castillo, quienes fueron mentores en el principio de su carrera.

Lizette Nin, is a Dominican artist who works with mixed media, but primarily with alternative and / or experimental printing and developing techniques, she has already had four singles, 2 of which were at the Image Center in Santo Domingo, together with the support of Fundación 83, and curated by Carlos Acero Ruiz, and where he introduces documentary photography to his work, with "Más Allá del Tiempo", in the framework of Photoimagen 2018.

Diana Rivera es una artista del lente estadounidense cuyas imágenes distintivas exploran los conceptos de aislamiento, dislocación y mortalidad en el mundo moderno. Nacida en 1981. Diana es una fotógrafa autodidacta, cuya disciplina académica original era el diseño de moda e ilustración. Inspirada por su difunto padre, Sucre Rivera, se inició en la fotografía en 2011. Este interés la llevó a un negocio de fotografía de eventos, donde pasó 8 años observando y capturando momentos íntimos en eventos de alta energía.
Su cambio a la fotografía artística se inicia en 2017, con su trabajo inaugural "Catharsis: Ella la luna". En Catarsis, Diana documenta a los artistas de performance en un ensayo para un espectáculo de una sola noche que cuenta la historia feminista de la persecución de la sociedad de personas "Queer" usando magia y paganismo. Este cuerpo de trabajo sigue resonando con el zeitgeist actual.
Ramificada desde lo digital, Diana ha adoptado la fotografía tradicional de 35 mm y de formato medio, junto a otros procesos tradicionales y alternativos de cuarto oscuro.
Influenciada por los fotógrafos de la Escuela de Nueva York, de mediados del siglo XX, se embarcó en su proyecto conceptual "Ghost Waltz" en 2018; un trabajo realizado en película de 35 mm. que se ambienta en una atmósfera del pasado dentro de una metrópolis que cambia rápidamente. Al capturar escenas nocturnas inquietantes, que son a la vez deslumbrantes y desorientadoras. Sus fotografías revelan un reconocimiento de las muchas capas históricas del paisaje urbano, recordándonos que la existencialidad es efímera dentro de la dimensión del tiempo y el espacio.
Actualmente, está trabajando en una serie sobre "Requiems" como parte del Ghost Waltz; homenajes a hombres y mujeres inmortales, que han dejado una huella existencial eterna, en la psique histórica de la ciudad de Nueva York y las mentes de sus habitantes.

Diana Rivera is an American lens artist whose distinctive images explore the concepts of isolation, dislocation, and mortality in the modern world. Born in 1981. Diana is a self-taught photographer, whose original academic discipline was fashion design and illustration. Inspired by her late father, Sucre Rivera, she started photography in 2011. This interest led her to an event photography business, where she spent 8 years observing and capturing intimate moments at high-energy events.
His change to artistic photography begins in 2017, with his inaugural work "Catharsis: Ella la luna". In Catharsis, Diana documents performance artists in a rehearsal for a one-night show that tells the feminist story of society's persecution of "Queer" people using magic and paganism. This body of work continues to resonate with the current zeitgeist.
Branched digitally, Diana has embraced traditional 35mm and medium format photography, alongside other traditional and alternative darkroom processes.
Influenced by mid-20th century New York School photographers, she embarked on her conceptual project "Ghost Waltz" in 2018; a work done on 35mm film. set in an atmosphere of the past within a rapidly changing metropolis. Capturing haunting night scenes, which are both dazzling and disorienting. His photographs reveal a recognition of the many historical layers of the urban landscape, reminding us that existentiality is ephemeral within the dimension of time and space.
Currently, he is working on a series on "Requiems" as part of the Ghost Waltz; tributes to immortal men and women, who have left an eternal existential mark, on the historical psyche of New York City and the minds of its inhabitants.
