La muy esperada séptima edición de ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair tendrá lugar del 7 al 10 de noviembre 2019, en el Shanghai Exhibition Center. Se seleccionaron 110 galerías líderes del mundo de 18 países y 57 ciudades para presentar arte contemporáneo y diseño de artistas establecidos y emergentes.
Como una de las ferias de arte contemporáneo más importantes de Asia, ART021 refuerza su compromiso continuo de aprovechar los recursos locales con una perspectiva global, apoyando el arte contemporáneo chino y cultivando nuevas generaciones de coleccionistas nacionales. SECCIÓN DETOUR
Por invitación se investigan discursos de regiones más allá de las redes geográficas establecidas en Europa y narraciones en estos con estos temas, con la esperanza de comprender los intercambios y desarrollos artísticos, intelectuales, sociales, políticos y económicos a escala global desde diferentes puntos de vista. 2019 DETOUR titula las rutas de la seda., enfocando las diversas rutas comerciales y complejas desde un inmenso segmento de la antigua Ruta de la Seda. La exposición sigue los pasos de Marco Polo para revisar los conflictos, compromisos e interacciones en la red continental de Eurasia.

MÁS ALLÁ (BEYOND-EXTENDS) trasciende la limitación espacial de los stands tradicionales de feria de arte. Muestras de pinturas, esculturas e instalaciones a gran escala en el área pública de ART021.
BEYOND-EXTENDS: Integra las instalaciones de arte contemporáneo en la vida pública al colocarlas en los espacios públicos fuera de la feria. The highly anticipated seventh edition of ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair will take place from November 7 to 10, 2019, at the Shanghai Exhibition Center. 110 world leading galleries from 18 countries and 57 cities were selected to present contemporary art and design by established and emerging artists.
As one of the most important contemporary art fairs in Asia, ART021 reinforces its ongoing commitment to leverage local resources with a global perspective, supporting Chinese contemporary art and cultivating new generations of national collectors. Local galleries continue to be strongly presented in the 2019 edition. More than 70% of the galleries have spaces in China and other regions of Asia. While many Western first-class galleries return once again to ART021, this year's fair convenes a solid list of young galleries participating for the first time in ART021. The prominent regions range from Europe and North America to emerging markets, including Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
ART021 has the honor of being part of the program of the Shanghai International Art Festival, for seven consecutive years. As one of the initiators of Shanghai International Works of Art Month to be launched in November, ART021 continues to collaborate with national and international art institutions, museums, auction houses and art galleries to promote the vigorous development of the market for Shanghai art and make Shanghai the next global center of art and destiny.

The exhibition follows the steps of Marco Polo to review the conflicts, commitments and interactions in the Eurasian continental network. 12 guest galleries from China, Korea, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Romania, Indonesia, Thailand and the United Kingdom will join forces to trace the renewed sensitivity and influence of the regions, offering visitors an alternative mode of visual experience.
