La Obra Cultural de FUNIBER y UNEATLANTICO inaugurará el próximo 25 de mayo a las 19:00 horas (GMT-4) en el Museo del Hombre Dominicano en Santo Domingo la exposición Goya y Dalí: Del capricho al disparate.
La exposición se realiza en colaboración con la Universidad de La Romana (UNIROMANA), el Museo del Hombre Dominicano, la Dirección General de Museos (DGM) y el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (MIREX).
La exposición estará abierta al público entre el 25 de mayo y el 15 de junio.
La colección “Goya y Dalí: Del Capricho al Disparate” está compuesta por 80 grabados de los pintores españoles Goya y Dalí, y refleja la compleja genialidad del arte de Goya y el universo surreal, que Dalí integró en perfecta armonía con las escenas de los caprichos goyescos.
Al evento asistirán Rubén Silié, viceministro de Política Exterior Multilateral del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (MIREX) de República Dominicana, Antonio Pérez Hernández, embajador de España en el país, y Ricardo González, consejero cultural de España.

FUNIBER y UNEATLANTICO inaugurará el próximo 25 de mayo a las 19:00 horas (GMT-4) en el Museo del Hombre Dominicano en Santo Domingo la exposición Goya y Dalí: Del capricho al disparate.
Después la óptica actual, hay tres aspectos de especial interés a considerar en la contemplación, análisis e interpretación de las dos series de Caprichos de Goya, la suya original y la recreación de Dalí
“En primer lugar, la primera, la original, conocida, estudiada e interpretada hasta la saciedad, cuenta por ello con un texto riquísimo que cubre los aspectos estilísticos, semánticos, y pragmáticos, cuyo conocimiento nos permite enriquecer sin límites la mera denotación de la escena grabada, con connotaciones biográficas, políticas, sociales, etc., e incluso abordar el análisis en su devenir diacrónico desde su aparición hasta nuestros días, en los que, como este mismo escrito demuestra continúa, su interés y estudio.”
“En segundo lugar la creación de Dalí, que manteniendo el motivo original de Goya, lo colorea y rellena con motivos de su universo surrealista, además de añadir un título irracional que enmascara el mensaje acotado por los textos en los originales de Goya.
El conocimiento del primer análisis, es decir el de Los Auténticos Caprichos de Goya es imprescindible para valorar la actuación que Dalí ha realizado y de qué modo transforma está su sentido original.
“En tercer y último lugar una visión mucho más culta y elaborada que trasciende las dos series de los caprichos para valorar a partir de ellas la influencia de Goya en el surrealismo en general y especialmente en la obra de Salvador Dalí.”
El artículo de nuestro libro “Goya y Dalí del capricho al disparate” qué ha hecho fortuna consiguiendo total aceptación y enorme difusión incluso entre quienes no conocen su autoría sintetiza la evolución de Goya desde la crítica social al modo de la caricatura inglesa a la expresión surreal del disparate plasmada de formas Clara y magistral en la serie de grabados que lleva ese título y que formalmente constituye una auténtica obra del surrealismo anterior a la aparición de ese movimiento.
Dalí, instalado en el disparate, en su creación de los caprichos los transforma en disparates pero no en los disparates goyescos, sino en disparates dalilianos, donde lo absurdo y lo irracional no dejan resquicio a la interpretación de la mente consciente.

Genesis and apotheosis of surrealism / Los Caprichos de Goya and its transformation by Salvador Dalí
The Cultural Work of FUNIBER and UNEATLANTICO will open on May 25 at 7:00 p.m. (GMT-4) at the Museo del Hombre Dominicano in Santo Domingo the exhibition Goya and Dalí: From caprice to nonsense.

The "Goya y Dalí: Del Capricho al Disparate" collection is made up of 80 engravings by the Spanish painters Goya and Dalí, and reflects the complex genius of Goya's art and the surreal universe, which Dalí integrated in perfect harmony with the scenes of the goyaesque whims.

Knowledge of the first analysis, that is, of Goya's Los Auténticos Caprichos, is essential to assess the performance that Dalí has carried out and how he transforms its original meaning.
"Thirdly and lastly, a much more cultured and elaborate vision that transcends the two series of caprices to assess Goya's influence on surrealism in general and especially on the work of Salvador Dalí."
The article from our book "Goya and Dalí from caprice to nonsense" which has made a fortune, achieving total acceptance and enormous diffusion even among those who do not know its authorship, synthesizes Goya's evolution from social criticism in the manner of the English caricature to surreal expression. of nonsense embodied in clear and masterful ways in the series of engravings that bears that title and that formally constitutes an authentic work of surrealism prior to the appearance of that movement.
Dalí, installed in nonsense, in his creation of caprices, transforms them into nonsense but not Goyesque nonsense, but Dalilian nonsense, where the absurd and the irrational leave no room for interpretation by the conscious mind.
