El fotógrafo Hernández conecta el carnaval con artistas nacionales de la plástica diseños originales sobre la cabeza y la pechera de Juampa

EL Centro Cultural Banreservas anunció que abre este viernes 18 la exposición fotográfica del maestro Mariano Hernández El Arte en la Cabeza, Fotografías de Mariano Hernández, una creativa muestra de imágenes del fotógrafo que ha conectado carnaval con los grandes maestros de las artes visuales dominicanas.
La dirección de Cultura de Banreservas sostiene que la exposición, que se inaugura este viernes 18 en la Sala Ada Balcácer del Centro Cultural Banreservas, sienta un precedente artístico en torno al carnaval al presentarlo en el marco de la creación artística del más alto nivel, con creaciones únicas ejecutadas en la cabeza de Juan Francisco Vásquez (Juampa) y el dibujo o pintura de sus famosos cuellos.
El proyecto fue concebido por Hernández hace siete años, en 2015. El Centro Cultural Banreservas está ubicado en la calle Isabel la Católica No. 202, ciudad colonial de Santo Domingo y la muestra se podrá visitar de lunes a viernes de 9:00 am a 9:00 pm y los sábados, domingos y feriados de 10:00 am a 7:00 pm.
Juampa es, a juicio de observadores, el más famoso carnavalero individual y artesano del Carnaval, cuya obra se ha destacado en concursos, actuaciones, vestimentas y comparsas.
El Ministerio de Cultura lo designó “Rey Nacional del Carnaval 2018”. Sus atuendos, sobre todo en los cuellos decorativos y la cabeza han recibido reconocimientos nacionales y considerable despliegue mediático. Desde el 2015, el fotógrafo artístico y propulsor del carnaval, Mariano Hernández, se propuso lograr que artistas plásticos ejecutarán obras únicas pintadas sobre la cabeza de Juampa o crearán diseños únicos para sus cuellos.
Una de las obras, la del maestro Ramón Oviedo, quien realizó una a la cual llamó Spunik, fue la última realizada por él. Se incluyen también otros cinco diseños de pintores que han fallecido desde 2015 a la fecha.
"Invitamos a sumergirnos en un viaje a través del lente del maestro de la fotografía Mariano Hernández, quien a su vez capta el trabajo ejecutado por 39 artistas de la plástica dominicana, plasmando su talento en el rostro del personaje más alegre y premiado del Carnaval Dominicano, Juan Francisco Vázquez, Juampa” dice el Centro Cultural en su nota.
Detalla Banreservas que la vida de Juampa, quien además de ser pilar fundamental de esta manifestación, es abogado, licenciado en lenguas modernas y profesor universitario, funge como musa para que estos artistas del pincel expresen y transmitan en su rostro y cuellos de los disfraces, también en exhibición, color, alegría, arte y tradición, mismos elementos enaltecidos por la personalidad y el sentir de tan digno representante del folklore dominicano.
En la muestra se expondrán estas fotografías digitales en impresión en chromaluxe y veinticuatro cuellos pintados por grandes artistas, componen esta maravillosa muestra donde cada exponente del arte interpreta el carnaval de una manera distinta y propia de sus destrezas, aportando diversidad y colorido a cada una de ellas.
La exposición estará acompañada de una agenda de encuentros, de visitas guiadas y talleres, durante las semanas en las que estará abierta al público.

In the exhibition, these digital photographs will be exhibited in chromaluxe printing and twenty-four necks painted by great artists, make up this wonderful exhibition where each exponent of art interprets the carnival in a different way and their own skills, providing diversity and color to each of they.
The exhibition will be accompanied by an agenda of meetings, guided tours and workshops, during the weeks in which it will be open to the public.
