7:15 / 6:28 se ha forjado como un tren que transita en paralelo a través del tiempo,
unas horas, unos días otorgados para comprender cómo se producen los cambios
entre el apego y desarraigo, entre una geografía y otra, entre la sal y el azúcar, entre el agua y el fuego, experimentando y anclando puntos en nuevos territorios del que Miguelina Rivera los hizo propio, y en ese recorrido se hizo rehén de su dialéctica, entre reflexión y confrontación, se encontró en el encierro voluntario con aires de libertad.

Miguelina se identifica con mujeres de acero, como Mona Hatoum, Louise Bourgeois,
Soucy Pellerano, artistas que desafiaron los roles sociales del género canalizándolo a
través de su arte volviéndolo normativo.
Desde un principio Rivera optó por alambres de púas, como un elemento que
expresa con solo mirarlo y sentirlo, territorio, violencia, discriminación, pertenencia,
apropiación y con el dolor fue creando huellas de cédula de identidad atrapada en
jabones de cuaba, como si un fósil se revelara.
Miguelina se amiga del tiempo y la forma en que este determina su obra, ella
observa como el metal se va transformado y develando de manera análoga, como
un rollo fotográfico. La oxidación como materia del tiempo, como capas de piel se
exfolia a través de la sal, gotas de rocío, la lluvia y el sol. Alquimista mística de
saberes por investigación propia en un proceso de contemplación, que suele ser tan
poético como revelador,en donde pule sus cicatrices con aires de libertad, y en su
reflexión, ha sido más que crítica de su propia obra, llevándola a veces al límite
lacerante en su propia piel.
En este cuerpo de trabajo aborda la maternidad de forma abstracta, y con ella
el velado de los paisajes, y en la alcalinidad de este proceso detiene el tiempo, que
muchas veces en sus días resultan ser tan cortos como largos y en ocasiones se
vuelven etéreos y eternos.
